Homemade Jambalaya Seasoning

Homemade Jambalaya Seasoning is great because you can tweak it to be how you like it.

I can’t claim credit for this recipe, it came from a cook book of mine called

Homemade Jambalaya Seasoning:
5 tsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Onion powder
1 Tbsp Garlic powder
1 Tbsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Basil
1 Tbsp Salt
2 tsp Thyme
2 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Cayenne

Mix everything together and store it in a jar. It makes about 1/2 cup, or double everything and make a whole cup for longer storage. Add it to anything (like Jambalaya) for a cajon flavor.

If it’s too spicy, decrease the cayenne. If you like other seasonings or spices, feel free substitute or add them.
